"If you are a Christian, you are free to think that all these religions, even the queerest ones, contain at least some hint of the truth." -C.S. Lewis
“Although I was going to say I am not a Universalist... but I am, and I am also a Presbyterian, and a Roman Catholic, and a Methodist, in short, I believe in every true principle that is imbibed by any person or sect, and reject the false. If there is any truth in heaven, earth, or hell, I want to embrace it, I care not what shape it comes in to me, who brings it, or who believes in it, whether it is popular or unpopular. Truth, eternal truth, I wish to float in and enjoy.” - John Taylor
Quotes I've been chewing on lately.

Of course it would be your blog where I find the very concepts that I've been thinking about lately! What a fantastic idea for a blog.
I love both of these quotes. I think a great supplement to them comes from Moroni 7: "For behold, a bitter fountain cannot bring forth good water; neither can a good fountain bring forth bitter water. [...] But behold, that which is of God inviteth and enticeth to do good continually; wherefore, every thing which inviteth and enticeth to do good, and to love God, and to serve him, is inspired of God."
We cannot afford to get so caught up in ourselves so as to not recognize that ALL good things come from God. Truth-- with a capital T-- is something that God will grant to all who sincerely seek it. I believe that I've found a lot of Truth in my life, but I certainly haven't found it all. We would all do well to keep seeking (perhaps in places we wouldn't expect).
